Why I started RSG Career

I’ve had to find my next move, too.

Dominick Reed · Founder, RSG

I started RSG Career because I know how hard it can be to see where your background fits and help someone else see it, too. The approach I bring comes from navigating those decisions in my own career. I want to help you recognize the value of your experience and make a more deliberate next move.

The person behind the advice

My career didn’t start where it is today.

Dominick Reed

Dominick Reed

Founder, RSG

In high school, I thought I would become a musician. In college, I founded a technology startup with my fraternity brother: a mobile coupon app for college students. I was juggling school, managing the work to build the app, and trying to raise funding to keep the business growing.

When I moved back to Dallas and shifted toward finance, I wanted to work in investment banking. I didn’t land it out of college. I took roles that helped me develop my skills, learned how to explain the value of my earlier experience, and eventually made my way into investment banking.

Today, I’m a Manager of Corporate Development & Growth within a physician practice management organization. My work spans business strategy, financial analysis, and growth opportunities. Getting here meant changing direction and building on what each experience taught me.

What I believe

Your next move should build on who you are.

A job title rarely tells the whole story. Building a business, supporting customers, leading a team, or changing industries can develop experience that belongs in the conversation about your next role.

You deserve advice that takes your background and goals seriously. The work should help you communicate your real experience clearly and pursue opportunities that make sense for your life.

Who this is for

A next step that fits your experience.

  • Professionals changing industries
  • Candidates applying consistently without getting traction
  • Professionals pursuing a stretch role
  • People moving into management or leadership
  • Candidates returning after time away from work
  • Professionals with strong experience but unclear positioning
  • Candidates unsure which roles fit their background
  • Professionals who need help communicating transferable skills
